Florence Pugh reacted angrily to criticism for wearing a sheer, hot pink Valentino gown
to the fashion house's haute couture show in Rome, Italy, on Friday.
Following the event to celebrate the fall 2022-23 collection at the city's famed Piazza di Spagna,
the 26-year-old "Don't Worry Darling" star penned a lengthy caption on Instagram to not only defend her body, but also to ask for "respect" for all people.
"Listen, I knew there would be a commentary on that incredible Valentino dress when I wore it,
" she wrote to her seven million followers. "We all knew what we were doing, whether it was negative or positive.
I was ecstatic to wear it and not the least bit nervous. I wasn't before, during, or after."
